Regional MeetingsRegional meetings play a pivotal role for networking, information sharing, and relationship building. For more information about AVRBC activity in your region, please contact your nearest Regional Representative. AVRBC members are encouraged to attend meetings and workshops outside of their own region. Non-AVRBC members are welcome to drop-in to a maximum of two meetings as a guest. Bringing the Boom to Your Volunteer ProgramApril 10, 2013, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Boomers are the largest, most educated, most skilled generation out there – and we want you to land them as volunteers. Learn the tips and tricks to build Boomerfriendly volunteer positions. Presenter: Stacey Ashton, Executive Director, Community Volunteer Connections Stacy Ashton is Executive Director of Community Volunteer Connections in Coquitlam. She is Vice President on the Board of Volunteer BC, and the provincial representative to Volunteer Canada’s Advisory Council for Volunteer Centres. Stacy is a member of the Administrators of Volunteer Resources BC, and an advocate for the key role Managers of Volunteers play in delivering the mission of countless non-profit organizations.
