North East

North East BC is a vast geographical region.  It serves an area stretching from Williams Lake in the south, to Tumbler Ridge and other communities in the Northeast, and Smithers in the Northwest.  Prince George is the major centre in this region with a population base of 80,000.  The population in the other communities is 20,000 or less making this region one of the most sparsely populated yet one of the most beautiful - with a significant number of volunteers.

Members of AVRBC in the North East Region meet twice yearly.  There is currently a very small but dedicated membership base. We  host a workshop each year to encourage learning and networking, build relationships and share experiences.  The workshop is also a way to meet potential new members who will enhance our capacity to learn from each other and AVRBC.

Aside from regular meetings, members receive quarterly AVRBC newsletters, personal and professional development opportunities, relevant articles and research, employment opportunities and much more.
