South Island

The South Island region spans from Port Renfrew to Sidney and all of the communities south to Greater Victoria and has a large, enthusiastic membership of over 50 members. This region meets regularly on the third Thursday of every month, from September to June, at the Shelbourne Street Church of Christ, located at 3460 Shelbourne Street in Victoria, from 12-1:30pm.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch but light refreshments and snacks are provided. Agenda topics for regular meetings are determined by the members in September each year. Each meeting includes time for informal socializing and networking, more formal updates and introductions from members in attendance, and a scheduled speaker or brainstorming session.

Aside from regular meetings, members receive quarterly AVRBC newsletters, a wide variety of personal and professional development opportunities, relevant articles and research, employment opportunities and much more.
